The DALITSO Bursary Scheme is now open for applications, inviting all potential beneficiaries to apply for their bursary program for the 2024/2025 academic year.

FIELDS COVERED IN THE DALITSO BURSARY PROGRAMME:

Dalitso invites qualified students to apply for their bursary program for the 2024/2025 academic session. Bursaries will be awarded for studies in the following fields:

• Human Resources
• Information Technology
• Software Development

EXPENSES COVERED IN THE DALITSO BURSARY PROGRAMME:

The bursaries will cover the following expenses: registration fees, tuition fees, textbook allowance, meal allowance, travel allowance, and university accommodation.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR THE DALITSO BURSARIES: 

All potential beneficiaries must meet the following minimum entry requirements before submitting an application for this bursary (failure to meet all entry requirements will result in automatic disqualification):

• South African citizenship
• Age between 18 and 22 years old
• Completion of Matriculation
• Minimum overall average of 75% in Matric
• Pursuing or intending to pursue a 4-year program in one of the listed fields of study
• Registered or provisionally accepted at a recognized and accredited tertiary institution in South Africa
• Minimum overall average of 65% in the 1st year of tertiary studies (for current students)
• Demonstrated financial need to access the bursary.

APPLICATION PROCESS FOR  DALITSO BURSARY

Please ensure that you include clear copies of the following listed documents as supporting documentation along with your application form. It is crucial to submit these documents as failure to provide any of these items will result in disqualification:

• Certified copy of ID document
• Certified copy of Matric certificate
• Proof of registration/acceptance (on institution’s letterhead)
• Full academic record, if currently studying (on institution’s letterhead)
• Tuition Fee Invoice (on institution’s letterhead)
• Fee Statement (on institution’s letterhead)
• Accommodation Invoice (on institution’s letterhead)
• Certified copies of parent’s or guardian’s ID documents
• Proof of Income
• Curriculum Vitae
• A Letter of Attestation indicating why you believe you should be awarded a bursary.
