Dalitso invites qualified students to apply for their bursary program for the 2024/2025 academic session. Bursaries will be awarded for studies in the following fields:

The bursaries will cover the following expenses: registration fees, tuition fees, textbook allowance, meal allowance, travel allowance, and university accommodation.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR THE DALITSO BURSARIES: 

All potential beneficiaries must meet the following minimum entry requirements before submitting an application for this bursary (failure to meet all entry requirements will result in automatic disqualification):

  • South African citizenship
  • Age between 18 and 22 years old
  • Completion of Matriculation
  • Minimum overall average of 75% in Matric
  • Pursuing or intending to pursue a 4-year program in one of the listed fields of study
  • Registered or provisionally accepted at a recognized and accredited tertiary institution in South Africa
  • Minimum overall average of 65% in the 1st year of tertiary studies (for current students)
  • Demonstrated financial need to access the bursary.

  • A Letter of Attestation indicating why you believe you should be awarded a bursary.
