Applications are now being accepted for the Boise State University USA Graduate Assistantships 2024. This scholarship supports graduate-level programs in various subjects offered at Boise State University. Boise State University, located in Boise, Idaho, is a public research university with a rich history. Established in 1932 by the Episcopal Church, it transitioned into an independent junior college in 1934 and has been conferring baccalaureate and master’s degrees since 1965. In 1969, it officially became a public institution.
The graduate assistantship (GA) offered by Boise State University presents a fantastic opportunity for students to collaborate with diverse departments within the College of Business and Economics (COBE) or elsewhere on campus, all while pursuing their graduate degree. COBE graduate assistants may engage in various areas, contributing to a well-rounded and enriching experience.
- Academic research and support for faculty
- Tutor undergraduate students
- Teach undergraduate classes
- Support for event coordination and/or marketing COBE through the Graduate Business Studies Office
Scholarship Benefits
The Graduate Assistantship (GA) covers all tuition and fees, provides a stipend of around $9,400 for the academic year, and entails 20 hours of work per week during the semester. GA awards during the spring semester are occasionally offered. Contracts are not automatically extended, but students have the option to apply for a second year.
Eligibility Criteria:
COBE provides a restricted number of Graduate Assistant (GA) positions for full-time graduate business students. To qualify for acceptance of an award, candidates must be fully admitted to their degree program and attend full-time, taking 9-12 graduate credits during the award period.
