Appointment Requirements:

  • N6 / National Diploma / Degree in Finance or Management Assistant.
  • Confirmation letter from the institution.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Applications – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ages between 18 – 35 years.
  • Only City of Johannesburg residents will be considered.

Primary Function:

  • Receiving and recording invoices from different service providers.
  • Distributing invoices to Project Managers and ensuring processing and payment within 30 days in line with the Municipal Finance Management Act.
  • Liaising with service providers monthly to ensure timely submission of invoices.
  • Budget analysis to ensure projects are implemented within the available budget.
  • Record-keeping for defense purposes in case of disputes or queries.

  • Interacting with Transport Finance, Project Managers, and Implementing Agents.
  • Assisting in administrative work for record-keeping.
  • Submitting administrative documents for reporting and tracking of expenditure.
