Community Champions Scholarship
The Community Champions Scholarship offers $1,000 to any student who wants to impact their community on a monthly basis. To qualify, you must be 18 years of age or older. To apply, you need to fill out the form. No essay is required. Continuing Community Champions can also re-apply for the scholarship.
Program participation includes:
- New Champions: Participate in 3 community outreach/engagement events + develop 2 community outreach/engagement events Returning Champions: Participate in 2 community outreach/engagement events + develop 2 events + support a new champion in developing their event
- New Champions: Participate in all didactic sessions (live or asynchronously) Returning Champions: Participate in all panel discussion sessions.
- $5,000 honorarium upon meeting program requirements
- Opportunity to bring your learning to your department
Eligibility information
This scholarship is open to students meeting the below eligibility criteria.
- Must be either a College or Graduate Student
- Must be a US Citizens or Permanent Residents
- Must attend any accredited institution in USA
- Must be 18 years and above
