Consulting – Software Developer at Deloitte | Expectations To excel in this role, the individual must demonstrate the ability to satisfactorily perform each essential duty. The requirements outlined below represent the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Develop client and server-side web applications
• Review existing codebase and implement new application code
• Estimate, complete, and test software development tasks
• Possess an understanding of the full software development life cycle
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Proficient in PHP, JavaScript (React), HTML, CSS, with solid knowledge and experience in programming applications
• Collaborate effectively with personnel from multiple functional and regional areas, thriving in a fast-paced environment
• The successful candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized
• Perform other duties as assigned

Eligibility Criteria To be eligible for the Deloitte job as a Consulting – Software Developer, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc., B.Eng, B.Tech., HND, etc.) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field with a minimum of second class upper degree/upper credit
• Obtain a minimum of five credits in WASSCE Ordinary Level/NECO subjects or an acceptable equivalent examination, including Mathematics and English Language in one sitting only
• Possess at least one computer-related certification in areas such as ITIL, PMP, Microsoft Solutions Developer, Oracle Certified, Salesforce Certified Administrator, AWS, Azure, or RPA developer certification (an added advantage)
• Demonstrate experience and ability to maintain the confidentiality of organization information and trade secrets
• Evidence of knowledge and training on basic employee information security guidelines
• Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript (React), HTML, CSS, with solid knowledge and experience in programming applications
• Basic knowledge and experience in using business process management platforms (an added advantage)
• Relevant work experience of not less than 3 years
• Keen interest in Information Technology

• Ability to document, analyze, and interpret business processes
