Unemployed graduates interested in participating in the twenty-four (24) months Internship Programme are encouraged to apply by submitting applications to the department. Purpose: The department’s Internship Programme is designed to provide opportunities for previously disadvantaged South African students. The goal is to establish an effective system for the continuous development of skilled and experienced candidates, fostering their readiness for future appointments and mobility in both the public and private sectors.
Overview: The DFFE Programme aims to achieve the following objectives:
- Enhance youth development and employability
- Cultivate a culture of high-quality lifelong learning within DFFE
- Facilitate skills transfer through coaching from DFFE’s permanent staff to interns
Successful applicants will receive a stipend/allowance of R 6,083.70 per month.
