The program is designed to enhance the employability of young Africans by supporting innovative skills development initiatives and forming partnerships, emphasizing a close collaboration with the private sector as a crucial stakeholder in job creation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in political science, international relations, education and training, or a related field.
- Familiarity with AUC, AUDA-NEPAD, GIZ, and World Skills institutions.
- Experience in supporting multi-stakeholder coordination platforms, including online/virtual facilitation skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a proven track record of drafting and editing complex reports and communication materials.
- Basic experience in data management and analysis.
- Fluency in English is essential, and proficiency in French is advantageous. Proficiency in other AU working languages is an added benefit.
- Experience in meeting management and secretarial duties.
- Ability to quickly comprehend instructions, seek clarification when needed, adapt, and work independently to produce results on time.
- Motivation to work in a multicultural environment.
- Good knowledge of standard MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
