The program is designed to enhance the employability of young Africans by supporting innovative skills development initiatives and forming partnerships, emphasizing a close collaboration with the private sector as a crucial stakeholder in job creation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in political science, international relations, education and training, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with AUC, AUDA-NEPAD, GIZ, and World Skills institutions.
  • Experience in supporting multi-stakeholder coordination platforms, including online/virtual facilitation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a proven track record of drafting and editing complex reports and communication materials.
  • Basic experience in data management and analysis.
  • Fluency in English is essential, and proficiency in French is advantageous. Proficiency in other AU working languages is an added benefit.
  • Experience in meeting management and secretarial duties.
  • Ability to quickly comprehend instructions, seek clarification when needed, adapt, and work independently to produce results on time.
  • Motivation to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Good knowledge of standard MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
