Role Summary
The Hatch programme Marketing & Graphic Design intern will play a crucial role in crafting marketing materials for both clients and the company. Collaborating with subject matter experts, the individual will convert technical and business content into various marketing materials such as client literature, press releases, award submissions, and other advertising materials. These materials will be utilized globally for both print and web-based campaigns.
Beyond day-to-day responsibilities, this role offers an opportunity to contribute to the development of Hatch’s Programme marketing services. We are seeking a candidate who can blend technical excellence, strong communication skills, and project management capabilities with the ability to challenge our thinking and make a meaningful impact.
As a member of the Hatch programme Marketing & Communications team, the Marketing & Graphic Designer Intern will be responsible for:
- Updating advert designs for online and print publications
- Updating brochures
- Designing proposal collateral, including executive summaries and document formatting
- Creating and sizing signage
- Developing print and digital banners
- Designing corporate and social posters
- Crafting PowerPoint presentations
- Designing corporate and client invitations
- Creating collateral for corporate and social events
- Developing digital newsletters and emails
- Template creation
This role is suited for a self-motivated team player with strong problem-solving and project management abilities. The ideal candidate can work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment, managing and prioritizing multiple tasks with attention to detail.
Requirements for the ideal candidate:
- Studying towards a Diploma or University Degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or Journalism, preferably a 3rd or 4th-year student
- Strong written communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Technical and creative writing skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Professional and friendly attitude with excellent customer service skills
- Strong computer skills; experience with Adobe Creative Suite is an asset
