Here are the steps to successfully apply for a vacancy at the University of Venda (UniVen):

1. Check for available vacancies:

• Visit the University of Venda’s website: https://www.univen.ac.za/vacancies/

• Click on the “Vacancies” tab in the main menu to access a page with a list of currently open positions.

• Browse through the positions to find the one that aligns with your interests.

2. Create an account:

• If you haven’t already, create an account on the e-recruitment system by clicking on the “Create Account” button on the vacancies page.

• Fill in the required information, including your name, email address, and password.

• Once your account is created, log in to start applying for positions.

3. Apply for the position:

• Click on the “Apply Now” button next to the position you’re interested in.

• Complete the application form, providing details about yourself, qualifications, experience, and other relevant information.

• Carefully read the job description and requirements before applying, tailoring your application accordingly.

• Upload your CV and any other required documents, such as certifications or transcripts.

Things to Keep in Mind:

• The University of Venda no longer accepts hand-delivered, faxed, or emailed applications. All applications must be submitted through the online e-recruitment system.

• For online payment of the R100 application fee, you will need a South African ID number, cellphone number, email address, and a credit/debit card with a CVV number.

• Due to the high volume of applications, the University of Venda does not acknowledge receipt. If you don’t receive feedback within two months of the closing date, consider your application unsuccessful.
