  This represents a 3-month contractual opportunity with LifeCheq Programme, an innovative and rapidly expanding consultancy firm collaborating with professionals, entrepreneurs, and business owners. With offices in Cape Town and Johannesburg, this role, initially on a 3-month basis, holds the potential for extension and a permanent position within the LifeCheq family based on successful performance.

  Immediate availability at our Cape Town CBD office is required, although the role is fully remote with provided equipment. The primary responsibilities include collaborating with the tax practitioner and team members to facilitate the filing of clients’ annual and provisional tax returns. Responding to client emails, handling general queries, checking supporting tax documents, and monitoring client progress during tax season are essential tasks. Familiarity with Trello and other in-house systems, maintaining communication lists, and being available for longer hours during peak times are also part of the role.

  We are seeking candidates who are undergraduates or recent graduates in Commerce, Tax, Accounting, or a related discipline. A strong commitment to client-service excellence, high accuracy, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and a proactive attitude are crucial. The ability to meet deadlines, work well under pressure, and collaborate effectively in a team are key attributes.
