Purpose of The Role

• Assist the EHS Manager in promoting and ensuring compliance with L’Oréal Safety standards and all relevant local requirements among all employees.
• Support the EHS Manager in driving key Safety Projects aligned with Global Standards.
• Manage administrative tasks related to Behavior Based Safety improvement and assist in launch requirements as needed.
• Perform general EHS tasks to gain exposure to various EHS programs.
• Aid in Health and Safety projects.
• Update Safety Communication Boards.
• Manage records of PPE issuance for stocktaking purposes.

Required Competencies:

• Effective verbal and written communication skills for both external and internal customers.
• Team player, self-motivated, proactive, and initiative-driven at all levels.
• Ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve problems with minimal support.
• Strong communication and research skills.

Education and Experience:

• National Diploma/Degree in Safety Management/Samtrac – ESSENTIAL.
• Computer Literacy.
• Ability to self-manage and deliver on time.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good analytical and organizing skills.
• Team player with a team mindset.
• 2-5 Years’ experience in Health and Safety.
