The Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF) is actively soliciting applications from eligible candidates for the UNDP Vocational Training Program 2023. The Training and Skill Acquisition Centers have been established with the aim of empowering Lagos residents in various vocational fields.

What to Expect The Fund will operate with an initial capital of N25 Billion contributed over four years by the Lagos State Government, with additional funding sourced from various entities including donor partners, development agencies, corporate organizations, and individuals.

LSETF will prioritize entrepreneurship promotion by enhancing access to finance, strengthening the institutional capacity of MSMEs, and formulating policies aimed at improving the business environment in Lagos State. Additionally, the Fund will develop programs to train and place unemployed Lagos residents in jobs, while also focusing on initiatives to drive innovation within the Lagos ecosystem.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the UNDP Vocational Training Program, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Residency in Lagos state, Nigeria.

• Age between 18 and 45 years.

• Possession of a National Identity Number (NIN).

• Possession of a Lagos State Residents Registration Agency (LASSRA) number.

• Submission of a passport photograph.

• Provision of guarantor’s details.
