The Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA) functions as a Sector Education and Training Authority (SETA) under the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET). It plays a role in skills development and supports mine health and safety within the mining and minerals sector under the Skills Development Act (SDA) 97 of 1998 and the Mine Health and Safety Act (MHSA) 29 of 1996, falling under the jurisdiction of the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy (DMRE).

This internship opportunity is exclusively open to South African citizens. The selected intern will be appointed for a duration of twenty-four (24) months.

Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 or matric certificates.
National Diploma or equivalent at NQF level 6 in the Financial and Accounting field.
A Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent at NQF Level 7 in the Financial and Accounting field would be advantageous.
