“In 1848, Mossel Bay attained town status, followed by municipal status in 1852. In 2000, the Mossel Bay Municipality underwent a merger with smaller municipalities, including Friemersheim, Great Brak River, and Herbertsdale, forming the present-day Municipality of Mossel Bay. Positioned midway between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth along the N2, the municipality shares borders with neighboring municipalities such as George, Langeberg, and Oudtshoorn. The primary economic activities of the municipality encompass fishing, agriculture, tourism, petrochemicals, and light industry.”

REQUIREMENTS:
“Applicants must meet the following minimum entry criteria to be eligible for consideration (please be aware that failure to meet all the requirements will result in the rejection of your application): • South African citizenship • Residency within the Mossel Bay Municipality area • Currently enrolled or planning to enroll full-time in one of the specified fields of study • Pursuing or planning to pursue studies at a recognized and accredited tertiary institution in South Africa (SAQA-accredited tertiary or TVET institution) • Household income below R15,000 per month”
