QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Qualifications:
- Degree/B-Tech in Finance/Supply Chain/Logistics at NQF 7 level, along with computer literacy.
Competencies:
- Problem-solving skills, customer service skills, effective communication, teamwork, and a willingness to learn across all functions.

The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to learn various functions, including but not limited to:
- Compilation of bids/quotations in accordance with SCM policies, procedures, and legislative framework.
- Administration of contracts in line with SCM policies and contract management framework.
- Maintenance of the contract register and updating the status of contracts.
- Preparation of necessary documentation for tender and quotation briefing sessions.
- Processing purchase requisitions from end-users within stipulated timeframes.
- Creation of purchase orders for goods and services, as well as assisting Accounts Payable in expediting invoice payments.
- Filing of SCM documentation, ensuring security, accessibility, and easy retrieval of documents when needed.
- Publishing bid information on the National Treasury E Tender Portal and OWB website.
- Tender advertisement on the National Treasury E Tender Portal, OWB website, and CIDB (if applicable).
- Tender closure in accordance with SCM policy and relevant legislative requirements.
- Preparation of procurement reports for requests for quotations or proposals.
