Pam Golding Properties is currently seeking an intern agent for their Operations – Sales and Rentals department. This is a permanent position based in Kraaifontein. A personal vehicle and laptop are prerequisites for this role.

Requirements:

Ability to work independently with excellent interpersonal skills
Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills
Pleasant and trustworthy demeanor
Familiarity with MS Office
Matric qualification
No previous skills required
Strong communication and organizational skills
Problem-solving and resourcefulness
Honesty and tact
Self-motivation and persistence

Main Responsibilities:

Utilize negotiation and selling skills
Demonstrate ambition, drive, and charisma
Maintain positive relationships with clients and colleagues through effective communication
Manage multiple properties simultaneously with strong organizational skills
Assume responsibility, as estate agents are entrusted with significant responsibilities early in their careers
Be willing to travel and spend time out of the office, typically requiring a full driving license
Possess understanding and interest in the local property market and the buying process

Key Responsibilities:

Provide guidance and assist sellers and buyers in marketing and purchasing property at the right price under the best terms
Determine clients’ needs and financial abilities to propose suitable solutions
Conduct intermediate negotiation processes, advising clients on market conditions, prices, mortgages, legal requirements, and related matters with a commitment to fair and honest dealings
Perform comparative market analysis to estimate property values
Display and market real property to potential buyers
Prepare necessary paperwork (contracts, mandates, listings)
Maintain and update listings of available properties
Develop networks and collaborate with attorneys and mortgage lenders
Promote sales through advertisements, open houses, and listing services
Stay informed about real estate markets and best practices
