The Public Health and Social Development Sectoral Bargaining Council (PHSDSBC Programme) is established under Section 36 of the Labour Relations Act, 66 of 1995. Its primary objective is to foster labor harmony and facilitate collective bargaining within the public health and social development sectors. We are currently looking to recruit qualified graduates who are unemployed, with expertise in the disciplines listed below.

Department: Collective Bargaining Unit and Reference: Collective Bargaining – CB24/05/22 Required Field of Study: National Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Labour Law and Labour Relations. Number of Interns: 01

Department: Dispute Management Unit and Reference: Dispute Management – DM/24/05/22 Required Field of Study: National Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Labour Law and Labour Relations. Number of Interns: 01

Department: Corporate Services Unit and Reference: Human Capital Management – CSD24/05/22 Required Field of Study: National Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management/ Labour Law. Number of Interns: 02

Department: Information and Communications Technology Unit and Reference: Marketing and Communications – MarCom24/05/22 Required Field of Study: National Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Communications; stakeholder relations management and marketing management. Number of Interns: 01

Department: Information and Communications Technology Unit and Reference: Information Technology (IT) – IT24/05/22 Required Field of Study: National Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related field. Number of Interns: 01

Requirements PHSDSBC Programme:

  1. Must be an unemployed South African youth.
  2. Must have completed and passed grade 12 (Matric).
  3. Must have completed a National Diploma or Degree at any recognized South African Institution of Higher Education and Training (HET) in the aforementioned disciplines.
  4. Have a valid South African ID.
  5. Applicants must not have prior work experience in their area of study or have participated in an internship program before.
