SAMNET Bursary Programme 2023
“The SAMNET BURSARY FUND was established in response to numerous community requests for assistance to students facing financial challenges in funding their studies in the fields of Media Studies, Journalism, Political Science, and related disciplines.”

REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants must meet the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to meet all the requirements will result in your application not being considered):
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must have completed Matric
- Must be currently studying or intend to study within one of the aforementioned fields of study
- Must be currently studying or intend to study at a recognized tertiary institute in South Africa
• Must be in financial need and unable to pay for your studies - Must be eligible for Zakat.
FIELDS OF STUDY:
- Communications
- Journalism
- Media studies
- Political Science
- and other related fields
