Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the Unilever Digital Internship 2023, interested applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Matric with Core Mathematics & Physical Science
- Completed Relevant Diploma/Degree in IT Support, Hardware, and Software
- Candidates requiring experiential training must provide their Academic Transcript with their CVs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Network Topology for the Control systems network
- Document control system devices IP Address list
- Update Cyber Security templates
- Utilize skills to enhance Control System Network
- Configure Ethernet devices
- Create templates for packing lines in Excel for Digital Factory (DFOS)
- Establish Tag structure for DFOS
- Configure Webpage for Digital Factory
- Develop Reports for Server Clients and Devices
- Create Maintenance Documentation
- Develop IT-related training material
- Execute digitization project work
- Assist artisans and technicians with Network and IT-related issues
- Conduct MSSQL database Maintenance (e.g., Backups, Fine Tuning, user maintenance, Indexing, etc.)
- Perform OT Network Health Checks
- Perform OT Server and Desktop maintenance (backups, Anti-virus updates, windows patching, health checks)
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), Standard Maintenance Procedures (SMP’s), and One Point Lessons (OPL’s) for Control system devices on Ethernet.
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of Anti-Virus Software
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure
- Familiarity with Power BI
- Understanding of Networks
- Experience with OPC UA Tag configurator
- Familiarity with IOT devices, Hubs
- Knowledge of Database programming and Maintenance
- CompTIA A+ certification (Advantageous)
- Experience with Configuration of Ethernet devices
- Familiarity with Acronis or any other cyber protect solutions
- Knowledge of VMWare ESXi or any other Hypervisor
