Sponsorship and Host Institution:

Sponsored by the University of Queensland, Australia, the Liveris Academy Undergraduate Scholarship offers a substantial value of up to $10,000 per annum and is part of the Liveris Academy Merit Scholarship Scheme. Additionally, recipients may receive up to $10,000 for travel support for approved Gap Semesters, exchange programs, or internship opportunities. Established in 2019 by Andrew and Paula Liveris, the scholarship is sustained by income generated from an endowed fund.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the University of Queensland Liveris Academy Undergraduate Scholarship, applicants must:

• Be domestic or international students.
• Have completed or be in the process of completing Year 12 within the two-year period before the award year (2022 or 2023).
• Have completed no more than one semester in the year of the award in specific programs, including Bachelor of Computer Science, Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), engineering integrated programs, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honours), Bachelor of Information Technology, Bachelor of Mathematics, or dual programs involving one of these courses.
• Not have undertaken any tertiary study at the Bachelor level or higher before enrolling in the approved program (excluding special studies).
• Not hold another scholarship deemed similar by the Director.

Application Process:

Interested applicants for the University of Queensland Liveris Academy Undergraduate Scholarship should submit their applications through the online application form. The application should include:

• A cover letter
• Resume
• Copy of semester 2 Year 11 report and semester 1 Year 12 report (or equivalent), or the most recent university transcript if already attending UQ
• A short video (up to 1 minute)
• Responses to short answer questions demonstrating how they meet the selection criteria.
