Applicants should not have prior exposure or participation in an internship program. The Department’s objective is to enhance the employability of unemployed graduates by providing valuable work experience through this internship program.
Position: Pharmacist REF NO: NDOH 15/2023 Requirements: • Basic qualification accredited with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) enabling registration as a Pharmacist (Intern) with the SAPC.
How to Apply to Western Cape Government Programme:
- Interviews will be conducted via MS Teams.
- Include a cover letter indicating 5 preferred institutions; however, placement may vary based on availability.
- Failure to select 5 institutions will result in the non-consideration of the application.
- Submit a comprehensive CV with referral letters from 3 referees.
- Include certified copies of Matric Certificate, Identity Document, University academic record for the 3 years of study, and SAPC student registration certificate.
- Accommodation during the internship will not be provided.
- Short-listed candidates will undergo a technical competency test.
- Candidates without the stipulated registration requirements may apply, but proof of application for registration and payment of registration fees to the relevant council must be submitted with the job application or upon appointment.
- This concession applies only to health professionals applying for registration in a specific category with the relevant council for the first time, including those seeking a change in registration status.
