This presents a unique and singular opportunity for students to delve into the realms of space science and technology, specifically focusing on the captivating field of space weather. This field explores the study of the sun and its impact on space as well as the Earth’s upper atmosphere.
Requirements:
• Applicants must be in their final year of B.Sc. Hon/B.Eng. or pursuing M.Sc. degrees in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Electronics.
• Must hold South African citizenship or permanent residency.
How to Apply to SANSA: Selected candidates will receive comprehensive funding for participation in the ISWC 2023. The funding covers virtual session data and all expenses related to transport, accommodation, and meals for the second part of the Camp, provided the applicant attends all virtual sessions.
It is crucial to note that successful applicants are required to be fully vaccinated before the camp’s commencement, and a vaccination certificate must be submitted as proof. Full vaccination is a prerequisite for participation in the camp.
