The KZN Film Commission aims to boost the economy by creating opportunities for individuals, particularly those from disadvantaged communities, to enter and engage in the film industry in the province. This initiative strives to contribute to a conducive environment for job creation and transformation.
In response to the demand for skills, the KZNFC is launching a Technical Production Training program leading to the Further Education and Training Certificate: Film and Television Production Operations NQF Level 5, which is a one-year full-time course.
Requirements:
- Candidates must be over 16 years old.
- Candidates from previously disadvantaged backgrounds are encouraged to apply, with preference given to women, youth, and people with disabilities.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and computer literacy is essential.

- Submit a motivation letter (maximum 1 page) explaining why you should be considered for the program.
- Provide a detailed CV.
- Include certified copies of your latest qualifications (Note: Minimum requirement is NQF Level 4 or Grade 12).
